Timu graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Communications at AUT.
Timu was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in May 2024 where he gained valuable knowledge practicing in a commercial property team at a large firm in Auckland Central.
From his prior experience as a commercial lawyer, Timu gained valuable experience working on complex transactions for well-known organizations.
Timu is looking forward to using the skills he has learned to provide legal services to whānau, hapū and iwi while gaining experience in the Māori Land Court and the Waitangi Tribunal.
In his spare time, Timu enjoys spending time with his friends and whānau and playing sports like golf and touch rugby.
