Josi joined Wackrow Panoho and Associates in 2021 as a Law Clerk while completing her legal studies at the University of Auckland. She graduated in 2022 with LLB/BA and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court in May 2023.
In her time at Wackrow Panoho & Associates, Josi has gained valuable experience in a range of legal areas.

Josi has particularly enjoyed working on files in the Waitangi Tribunal including the Mana Wāhine Kaupapa Inquiry, the Military Veterans Kaupapa Inquiry and the Porirua ki Manawatū Inquiry. Josi has a passion for Māori legal issues and aims to help Māori thrive through her legal work. Josi has a particular interest in seeking the best outcomes for Māori and is driven to find solutions for our whānau to thrive. She is also interested in Constitutional legal issues, Employment Law, Contract Law, Equity and Trusts and Relationship Property.
Josi also proudly holds Trustee positions on her Hapū trust and an Ahu Whenua Trust on her whenua in Te Rāwhiti. In her spare time, Josi enjoys swimming, dancing, and spending time with her whānau in Te Tai Tokerau.
